Last updated: February 23, 2026

Deleting individual chronology entries

To delete a single entry from your chronology:

  1. Hover over the entry you want to delete

  2. Look for the 'bin' icon that appears to the left side of the date column, sitting under the checkbox

  3. Click the bin icon to delete the entry

Bulk deleting multiple entries

If you need to delete multiple entries at once:

  1. Select the checkboxes next to the entries you want to delete

  2. Use the bulk delete option that appears after selecting entries

Deleting entire chronologies

Currently, you cannot delete entire chronologies yourself. To have a chronology deleted:

  1. Copy the URL of the chronology you want deleted (this can be found in your browser's address bar when viewing the chronology)

  2. Contact our support team with the chronology URL

  3. Our team will process the deletion manually for you

Important notes about deletions

Deleted chronologies cannot be recovered for security reasons. Make sure you really want to delete a chronology before requesting its removal.

If you accidentally delete entries there is currently no way to recover the reduced chronology. A potential solution is that you could re-add the document whose facts you deleted to regenerate similar facts, however, these might not be the same as the facts you previously deleted.

In the future, we are considering adding an archive option as an alternative to permanent deletion.
