Can I Edit or Add Multiple Page References to Chronology Entry Sources?
Last updated: February 23, 2026
Currently, Mary does not support editing multiple sources within a single chronology entry or adding additional page references to existing sources.
Common scenarios where this limitation appears:
When you have a multi-page document (like a medical certificate) and want to reference both pages in a single chronology entry
When you want to combine duplicate chronology entries but need to maintain references to different pages of the same source
When you need to edit dates, page numbers, or summaries for entries that contain multiple sources
Current workarounds:
While this functionality isn't available within Mary, you can:
Export your chronology to Microsoft Word, where you'll have full editing capabilities to modify source references
Keep separate chronology entries for different pages of the same document if detailed page referencing is critical
Future updates: The development team is actively working on improving the editing experience for chronology entries with multiple sources. Enhanced source editing functionality is planned for the coming months.
If you need to make complex edits to source references, exporting to Microsoft Word remains the most flexible option until these features are implemented.
