How to Get Additional Page Credits
Last updated: February 23, 2026
What to do when you're running low on credits
If your firm is running low on page credits, you can request more by emailing support@marytechnology.com. The support team can add credits to your account or help you find a plan that better fits your usage.
Understanding your credit usage
Mary uses a simple credit system: 1 credit per page of any document you upload. A 50-page medical record costs 50 credits. A 3-page letter costs 3 credits. Credits are shared at the firm level, so all users on your account draw from the same pool.
For a full breakdown of what counts as a page and how banking works, see the article on Understanding page credits in Mary.
Checking your current balance
If you are an admin:
Click Settings in the left sidebar.
Select Billing.
Your current balance, monthly allowance, and banked credits are shown on this page.
If you are not an admin:
Non-admin users cannot currently view the credit balance in the platform. Ask an admin on your team to check, or contact support@marytechnology.com and the team can let you know your firm's current balance.
How to request more credits
Email support@marytechnology.com with your request.
Include the approximate number of pages you need to process, if known. For example: "We have roughly 500 pages of employment tribunal documents to process this week."
The support team will add credits to your account, typically within a few hours.
If your firm consistently uses more credits than your plan includes, the support team can also help you explore a plan with a higher monthly allowance.
If this doesn't answer your question
If you see an "Insufficient Credits" error, see the article on Resolving the "Insufficient Credits" error for step-by-step troubleshooting.
If you are on a trial and need more credits, mention that you are a trial user when contacting support. See the article on How page credits work during your trial.
If you are unsure which plan is right for your firm, email support@marytechnology.com and the team can review your usage history with you.
