Troubleshooting Expired or Non-Working Invite Links

If you're experiencing issues with invite links not working or receiving error messages when trying to access them, this is typically due to the invite link expiring or a temporary system issue.

Invite link expiration

For security reasons, invite links expire after 48 hours. If the invite was sent more than 48 hours ago, the link will no longer work and you'll need to generate a new one.

How to resolve the issue

To fix non-working invite links, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the existing invite from your settings

  2. Generate and send a new invite link

  3. Ensure the recipient uses the new link within 48 hours

Important: Only organisation administrators can resend invites from within the settings for security reasons. If you're not an admin, you'll need to contact your organisation administrator to resend the invite.

If the issue persists

If you continue to experience problems with invite links even after generating new ones within the 48-hour window, there may be a temporary system issue. In this case:

  1. Wait a few minutes and try again

  2. If the problem continues, contact support for assistance

  3. Once any system issues are resolved, delete and resend the invite as the previous link will have expired
